        Is this a mineral sunscreen? How is it different from a chemical sunscreen?

        Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen is a 100% mineral formula, powered by Non-Nano Zinc Oxide for broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. Mineral sunscreens use physical UV filters—like Non-Nano Zinc Oxide—that sit on the surface of the skin and reflect and scatter UV. Chemical sunscreens use active ingredients that absorb UV, converting it into heat which is then released from the skin. We opted for a mineral formula for its compatibility with sensitive skin and alignment with our clean formulation standards. For more information, check out our guide to mineral sunscreen here. 

        Will it leave a white cast?

        Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen was formulated to blend seamlessly and dry down sheer. As with any 100% mineral sunscreen, a slight white cast can occur—particularly on dry skin. To help minimize this, we recommend applying the formula on well-hydrated skin, layering first with Dew Body Oil or Luminous Body Lotion. 

        Can I use Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen on my face?

        While this formula was created for the body, it can also be used on the face. If you have sensitive or breakout-prone skin, we recommend consulting with your physician or dermatologist.

        What does Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen smell like?

        Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen features our Pacific Greens scent blend, pairing crisp Green Tea and cool Cucumber with a subtle Plumeria finish. The effect is clean, refreshing, and lingers without overpowering.

        Can I layer Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen with other products? 

        Yes. We recommend applying Daily Hydrating Mineral Body Sunscreen as the final step in your daily body care routine, layering the formula over Luminous Body Lotion, Dew Body Oil, or Dew Body Butter. For the most seamless finish, let your moisturizer absorb for a few minutes before applying SPF.
